Facebook dominates UK page view traffic - Sept 09

Figures released from Hitwise for September 09 showed that Facebook took almost 15% of all page view traffic in the UK. Tp put this into perspective Google UK page views were 5.8% and eBay UK took 5.5%.

Hitwise also revealed that U.K. Internet visits to the Facebook site increased by 86.1 percent between September 2008 and September 2009, and accounted for 49.2 percent of U.K. visits to a social networking site during the month.
